Aguamiel Tequila, an award-winning brand that was only available to bars and restaurants until now, makes a great gift, keeping those holiday spirits flowing through New Year’s Eve. They recently made their products available for purchase by home consumers.
Our two bottle order (Aguamiel Reposado and Aguamiel Blano) was delivered to the doorstep in an ultra-secure, well-padded box that ensured no breakage of the bottles inside. A gift box of one or two bottles makes the perfect gift for someone eager to elevate their home bar for the holidays, or to keep for yourself like we did!
So far I’ve tried several of their refreshing holiday recipes, and have listed them below for my fellow Tequila lovers, most of them from Texas!
Aguamiel Tequila Artisans

Aguamiel Tequila is produced by master artisans using ancient methods. Their Master Distiller, Agustin Sanchez Rodriguez, is assisted by a team of Agave farmers who have been perfecting their craft for over 50 years. They hand-pick only 100% Blue Agave Tequilana Weber from Jalisco, Mexico. Their time-honored process creates a recipe that balances the harvested agave perfectly for a smooth finish. The agave plants are aged for at least eight years, and then hand-selected and hand-cut to reveal the heart of the agave.
The elegant bottle design is finished out by hand-tying a piece of twine around the neck of each bottle, as a symbol of the hand-crafted care and attention to detail that goes into producing Aquamiel Tequila. The founders of the company believe “the experiences we have are what enrich and create lasting impressions on our lives and those we share it with.”
Aquamiel Tequila has won the Bartender Spirit Gold Award for the past two years, and they also won the 2019 Tequila of the Year award. Aguamiel Blanco is $33.99, and Aguamiel Reposado is priced at $36.99. For deliveries right to your door this holiday season, visit them at shopaguamieltequila.com.

If desired, add salt to frosted glass rim before drinking.
