The Big Tex Youth Livestock market show has a revised schedule, following the cancellation of the 2020 State Fair of Texas caused by COVID-19. The Fair is still committed to offering youth livestock participation opportunities and wants to ensure a safe environment for their exhibitors and staff. Promoting agriculture, education, and community involvement is an essential element of the Fair’s nonprofit mission.
The revised 2020 livestock market show schedule is spread out over ten days, from September 23 to October 2, in Fair Park. This schedule concludes with the annual Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction that will be held on October 2.
In addition to the market week shows, a partnership with Heart of Texas in Waco offers students a path to maintain eligibility for Big Tex Youth Livestock scholarships.
