Ham Orchards in Terrell

Terrell is a few miles east of Dallas, famously home to Jamie Foxx. Ham Orchards has been family- owned and -operated for the past 40 years when started by Dale and Judy Ham. With five orchards and 10,000 trees, Ham Orchards also harvests 30 different varieties of peaches. That’s a lot of peaches!

Vogel Orchard in Stonewall

Just outside of Fredericksburg in nearby Stonewall is Vogel Orchard. It has been a retail location since 1972. However, George and Nelda Vogel had been selling peaches grown on their land out of their home since 1953. Vogel Orchard also sells pies, preserves, jams, jellies, and sources other produce from nearby farms.

Jenschke Orchards in Fredericksburg

Established in Fredericksburg in 1961, Jenschke Orchards has the oldest self-serve peach stand in Texas. The Jenschke Orchard, along with a farming operation, is family-owned. If you’re in the market for more than just a peach-pickup, the orchard also features a fabulous bed and breakfast.

Hutton Peach Farm in Weatherford

Hutton Peach Farm in Weatherford has a peach stand where they sell their sweet natural treats until labor day. The Hutton family also operates a farm and owns the Ridgmar Farmer’s market, where they sell more peaches and other produce.

Cooper Farms in Fairfield

With its headquarters in Fairfield, Cooper Farms has pop-up stands in several different locations around the state. The farm was initially started on five acres of land! The business since has expanded to 300 acres and supplies grocery chains such as H-E-B and Central Market.
