Rockport-Fulton Celebrates Halloween with Festivals

Rockport-Fulton celebrates Halloween by holding two lively festivals this October. The Second Annual Fulton Fall Festival features a costume contest and parade on October 24. The festival is produced by the chamber’s Small Business Council (better known as Business Builders) and the Town of Fulton.

A section of Fulton Beach Road, from the parking lot of Lulu’s Landing Bar to the Sugar Shack in downtown Fulton, will be closed for festival events Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Activities like face painting, rock painting, children’s games, and a Trunk-N-Treat are featured. There will be balloon animals, live music, and the colorful costume parade to enjoy. A number of fall and/or Halloween related vendors will also be there, along with food trucks.

Rockport-Fulton celebrates Halloween once again, as festivities in Rockport Cultural Arts District kick off at 10 a.m. Oct. 31. A number of special activities are planned all day long, and candy will be flowing. Costumes are encouraged and will help make posing for photos at one of the Halloween Photo Pods even more memorable.

The Halloween fun starts at 10 a.m. with a Harbor Haunt at Texas Maritime Museum. Bring all those ghouls and goblins for a delightful afternoon of trick or treating at the local shops throughout the Cultural Arts District. Enjoy such festive and traditional games as bobbing for apples and cake walks. Then take some time to enjoy a visit with the Little Bay Sea Queens.

Everyone is invited to stroll over to First Learning Tree to decorate their very own pumpkin. For those who dare, pay a visit to the Halloween Haunted House at Rockport Little Theatre for a very spooky encounter.

Visit the Cultural Arts District early to check out the decorated shops and see some amazing art. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a bite to eat at one of our many food vendors. Or stay for dinner, and enjoy a glass of wine at one of the district’s restaurants. Selfies are encouraged at one of the district’s colorful murals. Please post your photos to social media sites at #rockportculture, #visitrockportfulton, or #findyourselfinRockportFulton.
